UNESCO-ICHEI & Seewo Established the Smart Classroom in Nepal

From September 25 to October 1, 2024, TANG Xiangzheng, the Chief Technology Officer of Smart Classroom project, UNESCO-ICHEI, and YU Aobo, the Project Manager of Seewo, visited Tribhuvan University in Nepal to install the smart classroom and conduct training. The advanced educational technology solutions earned high praise from the university.



Despite challenges posed by heavy rain in Nepal, issues such as power outages and inconvenient transportation were overcome. The smart classroom was delivered within seven days with guaranteed quality and quantity. A total of 13 teachers attend the smart classroom training. They actively engaged with the Seewo smart classroom and provided constructive suggestions based on local teaching conditions.

Professor Chitra, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Tribhuvan University, expressed gratitude towards UNESCO-ICHEI and Seewo for their support, stating that the construction of the smart classroom would accelerate the digital transformation of higher education at the university. To fully tap into the potential use of the smart classroom, Tribhuvan University will open it to all faculty and students for teaching, seminars, and other activities. After the trial run, an opening ceremony will be held to further deepen cooperation between all parties. Additionally, Professor Chitra introduced the IIOE project, encouraging more teachers to participate in related activities.
