Hong Kong Wedon Demos Group Launched Learning Page on IIOE
Hong Kong Wedon Demos Group officially established its institutional zone on the International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) and created its internal learning zone, which marks a new initiative by the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) and Hong Kong Wedon Demos Group in promoting the digital transformation of global education.
As a key member of the IIOE international partner network, Hong Kong Wedon Demos Group can leverage this zone to fulfil three core functions: uploading open educational resources (e.g., digital courses and teaching tools), conducting customized teacher training programs, and co-creating high-quality educational content with global partners. This collaboration not only sets an innovative model for the IIOE partner zone but also empowers educational institutions worldwide to jointly participate in building a digital ecosystem through open cooperation.
By tapping into IIOE’s extensive global network, Hong Kong Wedon Demos Group will collaborate with universities and enterprises to develop teacher training courses focused on cutting-edge topics such as Blockchain and ESG, Blockchain for AI Governance in Finance, and driving innovation in industry-academia partnerships. Additionally, through UNESCO’s global platform, both parties will accelerate the efficient flow of high-quality educational resources to developing regions, aiming to reduce regional disparities in digital technology access and educational opportunities, thereby providing actionable pathways to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4). Moving forward, with Hong Kong Wedon Demos Group as a benchmark case, IIOE is committed to attracting more partner institutions to enrich the IIOE global network ecosystem and jointly build an inclusive and equitable global education future.
