On November 1st, 2020, My 25 Years in an International Organization Book Launch was successfully held at Yidan Library of Southern University of Science and Technology (hereafter as SUSTech).

Dr. Tang Qian, the author of My 25 Years in an International Organization, during his 25 years of working life in UNESCO, has provided strong support for the educational development and reform of UNESCO's member states, especially developing countries. He applied the humanistic concept of "education is based on educating people" to promote global education, which won the respect of many countries and became the pride of China. Meanwhile, he has made many pioneering contributions to enhance the cooperation between China and UNESCO, pushing the partnership between the two sides to a new peak.

In his book, he shared his experience of starting from a middle-level official to a senior-level specialist over the years, as well as his stories of decision-making process behind some important tasks in different positions. These stories allow the public, especially young people with lofty ambitions and aspirations to participate in global affairs, to have a thorough understanding of the purpose, functions, rules, and operating modes of international organizations.
