Meeting Background
With the ubiquitous application of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence(AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain across various industries, society is undergoing a comprehensive transformation towards informatization, digitalization, and intelligentization. Driven by the rapid development of the global digital economy and emerging technologies, traditional skill requirements are being overturned, and the demand for talents equipped with digital intelligence literacy and the ability to innovate is becoming increasingly urgent as industries continuously iterate toward digitalization and intelligentization. The Action Plan for Accelerating the Cultivation of Digital Talents to Support the Development of the Digital Economy (2024-2026)released in 2024 underscores the fundamental role of digital talent in empowering and fueling high-quality development. Globally, countries and regions have introduced macro policies and regulations aimed at advancing the digital economy, further integrating digital intelligence into all aspects of future employment and economic development. From the perspective of future industrial growth and employment trends, higher education, as the key sector for cultivating future talent, needs to uphold its stance in transforming talent cultivation models to meet this new paradigm shift.
