In the afternoon on March 26, 2018, ICHEI Director Professor LI Ming led all staff members to visit the Smart Policing Exhibition Centre of Longgang Public Security Bureau.
On March 22, UNESCO-ICHEI delegation visited Guangdong Institute for International Studies (GIIS) and Institute for African Studies of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Both sides exchanged views on future cooperation.
On March 21, 2018, Professor CHEN Dongping, President of Shenzhen Institute of Smart City & Big Data, visited ICHEI in Shenzhen. Professor LI Ming, Director of ICHEI, and all staff members participated in the meeting.
On March 19th, 2018, Representatives of Shenzhen Polytechnic visited ICHEI and shared their professional experiences on hosting training seminars and programmes.
On 16 March, 2018, ICHEI delegation led by Director Prof. LI Ming, visited China Merchants Port Holding Co., Ltd (CMPort), BAI Jingtao, Managing Director of CMPort and YAN Gang, Deputy General Manager of CMPort attended the exchange activity.
Invited by Egyptian Ministry of Education, UNESCO-ICHEI participated in the Fifth Meeting of UNESCO Education Category II Centres, held in Cairo, Egypt on 20-22 February 2018, and delivered a keynote speech during the meeting.
On January 29, 2018, the Chinese UNESCO Category 2 Centres 2018 Annual Meeting was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. Professor LI Ming and Dr. HAN Wei attended the meeting.
On January 23rd, 2018, Ms. SHEN Xuesong, Deputy Secretary General of China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), Ms. FU Bo, Director of Department of International Cooperation of CEAIE, and Ms. WANG Ying, Senior Program Director of CEAIE, visited ICHEI in Shenzhen.
Relying on the advantages of Shenzhen’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector and drawing upon China’s experience with the massification of its higher education, ICHEI aims to meet the local demand for quality higher education resources and to support Asian and African countries to improve the quality of higher education and promote educational equity.
