ICHEI and SUSTech Attended 5th Meeting of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions ConsortiumMay 30, 2018
On May 29th, the 5th Meeting of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium was held in Shenzhen University. Mr. TIAN Xuejun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. GAO Zimin, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government, and representatives from 24 universities in Central and Eastern European Countries and over 110 universities in China were present at the meeting.
Professor HAN Wei, Deputy Director of ICHEI and Director of the Residential Colleges of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), attended the meeting, and delivered a speech in the panel session themed “Talent Cultivation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”, during which she shared the practices of ICHEI and SUSTech in using ICT to facilitate talent training. During the meeting, Professor HAN communicated intent of cooperation with presidents or rectors of universities in Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, etc.
China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium is an open platform for universities between China and sixteen Central and Eastern European Countries, with an aim to integrate and share academic resources to promote multi-lateral cooperation on higher education.
