Jagiellonian University from Poland Visited ICHEI

On May 24, 2018, delegates from Jagiellonian University (JU) visited ICHEI in Shenzhen, including Prof. Wojciech Macyk, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Chemistry, Prof. Piotr Cyganik from Faculty of Physics, and Dr. Malgorzata Osinska, Dean of Confucius Institute of JU. Professor LI Ming, Director of ICHEI, met with the guests.

Director LI introduced ICHEI to the guests. He expressed willingness to carry out exchange and joint research with JU and carry out ICT capacity training programmes for local talents and serve Chinese and foreign enterprises in Poland. Dr. Osinska introduced the schooling history and features of JU. She emphasized that JU is strengthening international cooperation and exchange right now and is eager to build closer ties with China’s privileged universities. Dr. Osinska invited Professor LI Ming to visit JU this September and learn more about JU in person.


Jagiellonian University was established in 1364 and is the oldest university in Poland. JU has a comprehensive set of disciplines, is one of the most important scientific and research bases in Europe, and also one of the world’s top 500 universities.
